City MP Mark Lancaster recently joined Army Cadets from Milton Keynes on their Annual Camp.
The Cadets, who are members of the Buckinghamshire Army Cadet force based locally in Wolverton, Blakelands, Kents Hill and Bletchley, were on their Annual Camp in Sailsbury. Mark, a serving member of the Territorial Army, took the opportunity to join the cadets and hear about their experiences.
The Cadet force welcomes boys and girls aged 12 and above to take part in a broad range of exciting, challenging, educational and adventurous activities. You can join the cadets via their website which can be found at www.armycadets.com.
Mark said, "I was really impressed with the discipline and ability of the cadets from Milton Keynes that I met on their Annual Camp. It is clear they all really enjoy themselves and it is a great way for young people to learn new skills and disciplines. I would like to encourage all young people in MK to join their local Cadet Force."
