The UK's leading protection intermediary, LifeSearch, has bolstered its commitment to MK by opening a new office on Grafton Gate.
I was asked to officiate at the opening which will allow LifeSearch to increase its head count by 15%, to employ over 150 people locally.
LifeSearch has been located in Milton Keynes since 2000, with offices in London and Leeds they provide telephone-based independent advice to consumers and businesses on protection insurance, including life cover, critical illness cover and income protection. LifeSearch provides independent advice through some of the biggest UK brands, including ASDA, comparethemarket.com, MoneySupermarket.com, Swinton Insurance and Which?
The relocation alows for better office design and planning, enabling LifeSearch to increase staff numbers, have 40% more meeting room space with additional break out hubs, and a large kitchen area with panoramic views.
Tom Baigrie, CEO of LifeSearch said: "We have invested in a modern purpose-built office to give our people the best possible working environment, and to allow our expansion in Milton Keynes to continue. We have been doing business in MK for 15 years and are proud to have a significant presence here. We intend to continue to expand in the future and this new office will help take us into a new era."
It was apparent that LifeSearch is another shining example of how the growing economy has given businesses the opportunity to succeed here in MK. I'm particularly pleased that they've been able to increase staff numbers and I'm delighted that they had the foresight to make their home here 15 years ago.
