Families in Milton Keynes are set to benefit from better access to affordable housing following the completion of a flagship development.
Local MPs Mark Lancaster and Iain Stewart joined Jephson Homes Housing Association at the official unveiling of its Walton Grange scheme on Brickhill Street on Friday.
Comprising 53 high-quality affordable homes, the scheme was built by Leybourne Homes and funded in partnership with the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), the national regeneration body for England.
The scheme includes 18 two-bedroom apartments and 35 two, three and four-bedroom houses, available for rent.
The new homes are part of a 176 new-home development four miles from central Milton Keynes, and have been built to the code for sustainable homes level 3, designed to reduce water and fuel bills for residents.
