To be greeted by the aroma of gluhwein and warm mince pices were a welcome treat as I met the team at the YMCA German Christmas market last week.
This was my second visit to the YMCA in recent weeks and I am always keen to support all the efforts of the young people of Milton Keynes in anyway I can.
With the announcement of apprenticeship schemes in our region reaching 2,300 this year and the measures to cut National Insurance for employees under the age of 21, will be welcome news for the residents and a business owners alike. This is an encouraging time for employment growth in Milton Keynes.
The residents and supporters had clearly been working incredibly hard to create a variety of handmade items to sell to the public and I have to say I am very pleased with the decorations I bought for my Christmas tree.
