City MP Mark Lancaster has recently visited Autowerks Car Bodyshop based in Bradville Industrial Estate.
Autowerks was established two years ago by David Marriott and Matthew Scotchford which is a car bodywork business, fixing cars that have issues with their paintwork or a bump in the body work.
Autowerks has also recently extended its service to also include classic car restoration. Commenting on the success of their new venture, Matthew said, "We have taken a very strategic approach to marketing our business by making good use of technology. Our workforce now includes an apprentice and we expect to take on others shortly. I believe the growth we are experiencing, despite the difficult economic climate is down to a solid team and excellent quality of work."
Mark Lancaster was impressed with the determination and ambition of the business owners. "Matthew and David, demonstrate the spirit of enterprise that has positioned Milton Keynes as a great place to do business. Their energy and positive approach is commendable. With recent economic data showing the British economy picking up pace, I am sure that businesses like Autowerks and Milton Keynes will benefit greatly."
