I'm continuing my support for those living with dementia and their carers in Milton Keynes.
The forums, which I was able to insitigate in 2014, have started the process of a Dementia Action Alliance for Milton Keynes. A DAA provides a structure which enables a range of stakeholders to be involved and committed to take actions which will improve the lives of people living with dementia.
A meeting is being held in Westbury Grange, Newport Pagnell on the morning of Wednesday 15 July and I would like to extend the invitation to a wide range of the community who can to contribute to this very important project.
With the government backing an increase in funding for dementia, I'll certainly be working closely with the Dementia Action Alliance Milton Keynes team to ensure that we develop sustainable projects for 2015 and beyond.
If you would like to receive further information, including an agenda for the meeting on 15 July, or if you or your organisation would like to be involved in this progressive initiative going forward, please contact my office on 01908 686830 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
