Over 150 entrepreneurs attended our initiative to support new businesses in Milton Keynes last month.
Over the past year, figures reveal that MK saw 2,200 new start-up businesses and with this positive news, both Iain Stewart and I recognised the need to create a "one stop shop" to provide a solid foundation for budding entrepreneurs.
The Business Start Up & Enterprise Fair, hosted by Network Rail HQ and sponsored by Biztech and Heart FM, welcomed a wide variety of businesses who came with probing questions for the exhibitors. HMRC, The Federation of Small Businesses and the Institute of Directors along with several high street banks, were able to offer guidance and support during the 3 hour event.

Having run a family business myself, it is so important that the right advice is given at the start of any new initiative, which will stand you in good stead for the challenging times ahead. I am delighted that the exhibitors and visitors alike, took away some valuable contacts and sound advice.
